Sunday Church
Our weekly Sunday church gatherings are relaxed but also seek to reflect the amazing reality that we gather together as people who worship the living God.
We love singing songs of joyful thankfulness to God and encouraging each other. Our preaching program opens up the Bible, helping us to grow in our understanding of God’s wonderful actions in history in bringing us salvation through the death and resurrection of his Son, Jesus Christ. As we sit under God’s Word, the Holy Spirit encourages us to live our lives for our Lord.
We meet at 9:30am and 5pm at The Cathedral School Lecture Theatre (see map below for location). The best parking is at the Thompson Street carpark here. From there, follow the signs to Church.
9:30am Church
- All ages
- Creche (pre-school) & Kids Church (primary aged children from Prep to Grade 6)
- Followed by morning tea.
Our gathering at 9:30am is aimed at all ages and stages of life. We desire to express the amazing reality that we gather together as people who worship the living God and depend on his Word.
Our gathering is contemporary, relaxed and dignified. We finish each week having morning tea together under the shade of our beautiful rain tree.
Dress: Tropical Casual
Kids Church
9:30am has a full Kids Church program designed to provide age appropriate Bible teaching and activities. Our high school youth join in the main service.
- Creche: From sitting age to Kindy
- Lower Primary: Prep to Grade 3
- Upper Primary: Grade 4 to Grade 6
5pm Church
- Relaxed and simplified
- Time to go and share dinner afterwards
- No kids programs.
Our 5pm evening service is simplified while maintaining a focus on honouring God as we gather around the Word of Christ. This gathering started in May 2023 and is usually joined by young adults, but all ages and stages are welcome. We often gather for dinner after the evening service.
